Meditation

Are you new to meditation or are you a long-time practitioner? Are you looking for a quiet place to practice within a group setting? There are many benefits to the practice of meditation. It helps to generate inner peace and an ability to connect with a deeper part of yourself. This class introduces you to meditation techniques from the yogic and Christian traditions. Some of the meditation techniques include:
 
  • Meditation on the breath
  • Walking meditation 
  • Pranayama (breathing exercises)
  • Mantra Meditation 
 
Each of our meditation sessions offers an opportunity to sit quietly in meditation with others. These sessions are suitable for both new and experienced meditators.

Our meditation group meets every other Friday.
