Rosie

Rosie Latona is a longtime student of yoga and the founder of White Swan Yoga Studio, which opened in 2010. For more than 25 years she has enjoyed teaching yoga to people of all ages who are at various levels in their yoga practice. Rosie is especially drawn to offering gentle yoga, meditation, and slow flow classes that help explore movement in a mindful, easeful manner, one that feels natural but has perhaps been lost due to injury, surgery, trauma, or the aging process. Rosie holds a 500-hour certification from the Himalayan Institute, where she also completed Ayurvedic Yoga Specialist Training. In her time as a teacher, she has delved into diverse movement modalities and undertaken additional trainings that have shaped her teaching style and equipped her to guide students effectively. As a yoga instructor, Rosie possesses an innate ability to create a safe and supportive environment for her students. Her teaching style is characterized by mindfulness, patience, and attention to individual needs. Whether guiding beginners or seasoned practitioners, she skillfully leads classes that foster physical strength, flexibility, and inner awareness and delights in helping her students experience the inner peace and joy that yoga has to offer. Rosie is very grateful for her White Swan Yoga family!
