Slow Flow
In each class, we move slowly through a variety of sequences in order to provide the practitioner with a rich and rejuvenating yoga experience. Emphasis is placed on moving with intention and mindfulness with the breath as our guide. Taking time to pause while in poses results in an experience that is nourishing for the body, calming for the mind, and leaves the practitioner feeling rejuvenated and at peace. Restorative Yoga
Restorative yoga helps to activate the parasympathetic nervous system, which is responsible for relaxing and recuperating, reducing the stress response, and increasing positive emotions. This practice is designed to refresh the nervous system and help release deeply held tensions from the body and mind.
Our restorative yoga class begins with a gentle series of calm, flowing postures designed to warm the muscles and prepare the mind and body to unwind, followed by restorative poses to help the practitioner relax. Props are used to support the postures, while gently stretching and relaxing the body.
The class has alternating teachers. Jennifer’s class includes beautiful singing bowls, chimes, and other healing sounds throughout the restorative practice.
Please bring an extra blanket if you would like. It can be nice to lay out over your mat to make it extra cozy.

108 Gongs! Sound Healing Relaxation
Allow yourself to sink into a relaxed state of restoration and recovery as you experience the peace and healing vibrations of the magnificent gong!
The number 108 is sacred in many spiritual traditions. Everything in the universe - from the Earth to the objects around us to our human bodies - is made up of energy and vibrational frequencies. Vibrational instruments like the gong can help to balance these frequencies to help cultivate harmony and well-being as the powerful vibrations spread through our bodies, providing a delicate internal massage of all the way down to our cells.
We’ll start with a few minutes of gentle stretches to prepare the body for relaxation. Then, recline and take in the vibrations as Jennifer invites our large and beautiful symphonic gong to sound 108 times. We’ll then enjoy a brief rest or seated meditation.
Sound baths may not be suitable for individuals with certain medical conditions, including sound-induced epilepsy, traumatic brain injuries, or serious mental health issues. Always consult your doctor before attending a sound bath if you have any concern about this.
Students are encouraged to bring an extra blanket.

SOUNDWANDERING Sound Bath
Start your weekend right! Let your cares drift away and return to yourself as you are immersed in a Soundwandering Sound Bath, a full-body sound-healing practice for relaxation and healing.
Relaxation triggers the parasympathetic (rest & digest) nervous system. It is an opportunity for you to slow down, rest, recharge, get quiet, and wander freely with the sound, without needing to consciously respond or react. Soundwandering involves minimal guidance, and is an uncommon opportunity to let go of effort and agendas.
Allow yourself to wander through the sounds and vibrations. Who knows what you will find? Sound baths are often very relaxing, and can sometimes even shake you up a little. Wandering involves letting go of agendas and goals, and instead simply experiencing the journey. Wander freely, riding the sounds where they take you.
Many feel profoundly relaxed and experience health benefits after a sound bath. You may notice increased well-being and relaxation, deeper sleep, expanded awareness, and access to inner visionary experience, along with reduced anxiety, tension, fatigue, depression, pain, and negative emotions.
You will hear a variety of sounds, including crystal singing bowls, Himalayan brass bowls, gongs, chimes, rattles, rain sticks, drums, voice, and more. The non-musical nature of the sounds interrupts your mind’s expectation for melodic repetition.
Sound baths may not be suitable for individuals with certain medical conditions, including sound-induced epilepsy, traumatic brain injuries, or serious mental health issues. Always consult your doctor before attending a sound bath if you have any concern about this.
Jennifer is a yoga teacher (RYT 200), meditation teacher, Reiki practitioner, Practitioner of Sound Therapies and Vibrational Therapies, and Licensed Massage Therapist.
Fridays (weekly), 6:30 – 7:30 pm.
Participants are encouraged to bring an extra blanket.
