Oᑌᖇ ᖴᗩᐯOᖇITE EᐯEᑎT Oᖴ TᕼE YEᗩᖇ!
Join us for our annual celebration of the winter solstice on Wednesday, December 21, 4:00-5:30 PM.
For people throughout the ages, the winter solstice has been an occasion for ritual gathering, reflection, and renewal of our connection to the earth and to each other. The darkness of the winter solstice gives us an opportunity to pause from our activities, to listen, watch, and honor the slower, quieter rhythm of the season and prepare for the light which is to come.
Our winter solstice class will consist of gentle movements, some restorative poses, guided relaxation, and meditation, with some seasonal poetry sprinkled throughout. Class will be held by candlelight.
Our celebration is intended to bring you warmth and light on the "darkest" day of the year.
Space is limited and registration closes one hour before the start of the event.
