Stress, repetitive motion, injury, bad posture, and overexertion can cause muscle fibers in the body to contract. A group of muscles that are in a continuous state of contraction is called a trigger point. In this workshop we will:
• Locate some of the most common trigger point areas in our upper body
• Use therapy balls and various stretching techniques to relieve trigger point tension and improve circulation
• Learn how to use therapy balls for self-massage
We will then spend time in supported, restorative poses.
